Directions to Yvette Helin Studio from Midtown By Subway

Take the E or V Train to Queens 23rd St. Ely stop.  Take the G train to Brooklyn Greenpoint Avenue stop. Exit the train, exit at the Greenpoint Avenue stairs. Walk west on Greenpoint Avenue (west means you will walk towards the East River, you can see the power plant over in Manhattan in the distant skyline, it resembles the TITANIC, walk towards that). Walk one block to Franklin Street and cross the street. Our building is on the right, address 61 Greenpoint Avenue. It has large stone pencils on the top floor.

Directions to Yvette Helin Studio From Midtown by Car

Use the midtown tunnel - stay to the right lane. When coming out of the tunnel, get to the far right immediately. Take Exit 13 Borden Ave. Very important you do not miss this exit. Tell the driver you want to go over the Pulaski Bridge to Brooklyn. To some cabs this means something. To those cabbies who don’t know, exit at Exit 13 Borden Ave. Turn immediate right onto Borden Ave. Turn immediate right onto Vernon. (There are little signs that say Pulaski Bridge on them, you can also follow them but they are not at every turn). Take next immediate slight right onto Jackson. Take second right onto 11th Street Pulaski Bridge. Go over the Pulaski Bridge. Pulaski Bridge road turns into McGuiness Blvd. Take McGuiness Blvd. to Greenpoint Avenue. Turn right onto Greenpoint Avenue. Travel two blocks and a quarter to 61 Greenpoint Avenue.

To get in the building:
